Photo Recap

So much has been going on the last couple months! I have fallen behind on my blogging. Here is a photo recap of the last couple months.

Just noticed I uploaded my pics from most recent to farthest back. It takes forever to upload so, deal with it :)

Weather has finally gotten cooler here! Thank goodness! It has even chilly enough to put Memphis and Mardi in their new sweaters!

They love them! :)

This weekend was Joey and Megan's Engagement Party! We are so very happy for the both of them!

Was not able to get a pic of the newly engaged couple but, was able to get some pics of some others.

I had to pull Eric away from the open bar to get this shot.

Eric, Keith, Mom and Gabe

The very sassy Kate and John. Everyone keep going on and on how cute Kate looked! I have to agree. She brought HOT to a new level! Way to go Kathy!

After the party Joey and Megan got to pick where we went. The picked Celebrity lounge. Well, Celebrity lounge was packed! So we went up stairs to the new Allure.

If you ever plan on going to to place DO NOT GO! It is terrible! Maybe if you are younger.. 21 or so or single and looking to pick up a bleach blond with way to much make up on and a dress that shows everything she has. (by the way I love my bleach blond friends) Maybe even a girl looking to pick up a metro sexual. Then this is the place for you!

When we arrived we sat down at a high top table. The low rise couches with mini tables are reserved for those who would like to pay 200.00! That is not a typo. 200.00 for a low rise table that you might or might not be able to get out of.

There was not a restroom in the place so, you have to leave to take care of business. Coming back in is a nightmare! You have to stand in line and wait for someone to walk out before you can walk in. I am guessing they were at the maxium capacity.
At this point we all reconvened and decided it was time to leave.

Before leaving we took this priceless picture to show just how we feel about Allure.

Poor Megan's head was cut off. Oh, to be tall and have long legs!

On Sunday we went and had Copelands brunch. Then came home and played outside with the dogs.

This pic is self explanatory.
A couple weeks back we keep Lauri and Matt's kids. On Saturday we took them to the Gator farm in Greenwood. It was a lot of fun! These are some of the bigger gators during feeding time.
They have a pond full of Alligators. Hundreds of them! I made sure not to walk near the edge and keep a close eye on everyone!

They also have a big petting zoo. Danielle was very afraid of the camel!

Kristen and Kyle came in town for a shower we gave them. Well, really for Baby Caroline.
They got a lot of great items!

Our theme was "nesting" .

The table turned out perfect!

Anywho, that's a quick run down of the last couple months. Hope you enjoyed!

A Must Read!

If you have not read this book, then you need to. Automatic millionaire will change your life! I guess that's why it is a self help book. Duh!

Eric had been telling me that I should read Automatic Millionaire but, I had a couple books in front of it. I am so glad I have finally gotten around to reading it. Now I am practicing the way.

One of of the main points in this book is The Latte Factor. Taking the $5.00 that you spend a day on coffee and putting that money into a savings. It will really add up. The book also teaches you to pay yourself first.

There are many ways to seak retirement at an early age. I know I am counting down the days! :)

You can check out the authors website. On the site you will find success stories and many resources to help you obtain your goal.

A $2.99 Must

Yesterday I had to make a quick run to Walmart. While running through the store I found myself on the wine aisle. Not sure how I got there.. Ok, maybe it was planned. I figured I should reward myself for another crazy work week.

Here lately I have been in the mood for Red Wine. This always seems to happen at this time of year. The air is getting cooler (ha!), the leafs are "thinking" about changing colors and pumpkins and mums adorn everyones yard.

I browsed the shelves and was reaching for my go-to bottle of Cab. The cheap but, still very tasty Yellow Tail. As I reached my eyes came upon the bottle of Oak Leaf Cabernet.. for $2.99!!! I thought to myself, it can't be that bad. So, I grabbed it and placed it in my cart. My cart that was only suppose to have 2 items that somehow had oh... about 20.

Last night after dinner and finishing up work (working from home just means you constantly work) I cracked open by bottle of $2.99 wine. Let me just tell you... this stuff is GOOD! I defiantly suggest you go to Walmart and purchase a bottle of Oak Leaf Cabernet.

You can thank me later. Even better you can invite me over and share.
