Love

These girls LOVE each other!

Whenever they sleep they try to get as close as possible.

We plan to keep them in the same crib until they no longer fit in their wedges.

They sleep really well together!

On last Friday the girls had a weigh in.

We about fell out when we saw the scale!

We are so happy with the way they are growing!

Ruby 7 pounds 1 ounce!

Mable 6 pounds 6 ounces!

They exceed what the Doctor expected them to weigh.

They are pretty much wearing all newborn clothes now.

We go back next week for their 2 month check up and shots.

Family Walk

On Sunday it was such a beautiful day!

The weather was warm and the sun was shinning.

We decided to go on our first walk as a family.

This is something we have looked forward to for a very long time!

The girls are too small for the jogging stroller, so we used the snap n go.

It worked well for our short little walk.

I have finally uploaded some of the pictures from The Girls birth and hospital stay.

Please note I look pretty rough! The day of delivery I bet I had an extra 10 pounds of fluid on me... it was bad, but so worth it!

We drove home in the snow. Something very unusual for Louisianians.

I starting laughing on the way home as I asked Eric, can you believe we are taking OUR TWIN GIRLS home... in the snow!

Finally home and ready to start life as a family of 4!

The last month as been such a blessing!

1 month old!

Today Mable and Ruby are 1 month old!

I can not tell you how much we love these sweet little girls!

Everyone tells you how amazing parenthood is, but really, IT'S AMAZING!

The girls are now wearing newborn diapers and have outgrown some of their preemie clothes. We can now actually put a newborn outfit on them without it not falling off.

That's not to say they are not huge, because they are.

They love playing on their play mat and will even reach up to touch some of the items hanging from the top of the mat.

Today on their 1 month Birthday it snowed!

Weights!

On yesterday we took the girls to the Doctor for a weigh in.

Ruby weighed in a 5 pounds 12 ounces.

Up 7 ounces in 15 days.

Mable is up 14 ounces in 15 days.

Her weight is now 5 pounds 4 ounces.

The girls are gaining and that's a plus!

The Dr. would like to see them gaining an ounce a day, so we are adding extra calories into their feedings. Seems like it's helping already! They are getting fuller sooner, but we still push forward and make sure they eat what they normally do. As of today they are eating around 75-85 ml. per feeding.

Friends

We have some of the best friends!

Our last stay in the hospital was a total of 13 days.

During that time we have many friends and family that would stop by and see us.

A couple days before the girls arrival some of our best friends stopped by to say hi.

This picture is not the best, but I love it!

We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful group of friends!

Newborn Pictures

On last Saturday we had the girls pictures taken.

The photographer sent us a couple sneak peeks. We can't wait to see them all!

The girls were wide awake for all the pictures, this is not always a good thing.

We decided to have the family pictures taken first.

Good thing, because by the end I was sweating and had my hair in a ponytail!

We decided to sign up for the first year package, we will have pictures taken every 3 months.

I am sure every part of our house will have a picture of these sweet faces!
