A new way to bathe?

The girls are starting to get too small for their baby bathtub, so we have been thinking of new ways to bathe them. This way worked out pretty well and I think they enjoyed being in the tub together!

More room to play!

Our living room officially looks like a daycare! We pushed the coffee table against the wall so Rue and Mae have more room to play.
By the way, there are more toys in the playroom. I'm sure our house will always look like a daycare from here in out. :)

Graduation!

Ruby and Mable graduated from level 1 of Gymboree! To graduate you have to be able to sit and hold a ball. Now on to level 2, where they will stay until they start crawling, which might not be long.

Baby needs a new pair of shoes!

I bought the girls some shoes to wear this fall/winter. They seem to like them, or least be interested in them. They looked so cute on their feet!

7 months!

Ruby and Mable, you are 7 months old!

You both are as mobile as you can be in one spot. The last 7 months have been a blessing! You both are learning something new everyday. We love to watch you learn. You both started getting very interested in the dogs. Mardi is always by your side. You laugh when they walk by and are always pulling on his hair. You both said your first word, Dada! Of course your Daddy was very proud. He likes to joke around and say, who is the smartest man in the world, and you will respond with "Dada" :) You both are wearing size 3 diapers and are wearing 3-6 month old clothes.

Ruby, I am guessing you are around 16 pounds. You have 2 teeth on the bottom. Gosh, they are so cute! You love to jump in your jumpero. In the mornings, after feeding you, we walk into the living room and you start laughing and jumping up and down because you know you are about to jump. You can sit on your own, but I still like to be sitting next to you just in case you fall over. You love TV! If there is a TV on in the room, you are looking at it! You really seem to like Elmo and Baby Einstein. You love every type of baby food. There is not one that you do not like. You are still a great eater and wonderful sleeper. Your eyes are still blue. I was thinking they would change color, but have not yet. You are finally getting some hair. You have some really long pieces that stick straight up. They are cute! Your hair is light brown. You are a very easy going baby.

Mable, I'm thinking you weigh around 14 and 1/2 pounds. You have 1 tooth coming in on the bottom. It just started working it's way through. It has not seemed to bother you. I am hoping it does not. You are doing much better with eating and will take your bottle, eat what you want and then come back and eat more later on. You really love banana oatmeal. You are a great sitter! You can sit for long periods of time. You much rather sit than be laying down. You also love to jump in your jumpero. You really get after it! You are getting tons of hair! It's coming in pretty thick and is dark brown. Your eyes are brown and beautiful! You are constantly talking and saying dada. You love to play with a Baby Einstein music player. If I turn it on you start looking for it. You are still a great sleeper and nap in your crib 2 times a day and go to bed at 7. You have the cutest cheeks I have ever seen! You are such a sweet baby girl!

Happy 7 Months!

Came across this!

(no I am not pregnant! this is an old picture! Please read before falling out!) :)

I was going through some old pictures and came across this one! Here I was around 4-5 weeks pregnant. I never posted because we keep our pregnancy pretty hush hush until 10 weeks, when I was to attend a baby shower where champagne would be served. I knew everyone would notice if I passed up a glass! :)

It's a hard life!

Ruby was playing with her toys, then I looked again and she was lounging watching tv! She stayed here for over an hour!


Mae was jumping jumping jumping! 1 second later she was fast asleep.
