Sleeping Babies

Babies, when you are asleep I'm pretty sure I check in you 47536 times. Sometimes, If I'm feeling needy, I even pick you up and hold you. I'm your mom, and I can do that. I'm sure I will still hold you while you are asleep well into your teenage years...maybe even longer if my back can handle it.
Just like the book my Mom read to me and I read to you, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you as always, as long as your living, my baby you will be".
Sweet dreams, Babies!

First Time

At BJ's!
It started off with them both asleep. This was after they skipped their afternoon nap.

Then they woke up and we let them have a fry for the first time.

They obviously love them!

Our Day

I wanted to document what our days are like. So here it goes...

Since the time change you have been waking up around 6:30. You do not cry, just talk to each other. We come in, change you and give you your bottle at 7:00 am.
Ruby you are always loving Mardi. He really loves you girls!

Mable you normally have about an ounce or so of your bottle then you are off the roam the room. I have to keep the bedroom door closed, or you would be down the hall. You can see you are starting to get some hair, both of you! Thank you, Lord!

After your morning nap we went to Sam's. I needed coffee, but we walked out of there with much more! One lady said to me, "wow! They must be close in age!" ha! Really? Yes, 2 minutes!

After eating and napping, and then eating again, we went for a walk. We stopped by Aunt B's to say hi.

After we got home you both jumped in your jumpy. Mable you feel asleep in yours today. It's been a while since you have done this. I had to wake you up to feed you dinner. You are eating so much better!
As you can tell, you were really tired this evening!

So were you, Ruby. Look at all of that food on y'alls face!

After getting cleaned up it was time for a bottle and bedtime. I took this picture after you both had finished eating. Well, Mable you were still working on yours.

You both are now asleep. I am not far behind. You girls wear a Momma out!

A Bath In The Sink!

Today we had lunch at Nana and Pops. We stayed late and feed the babies their dinner time baby food there. The girls got really dirty so we bathed them in the sink. They loved it!

Santa

Today we took the girls to meet Santa and have their picture taken with him. They did great! I really thought they were going to cry. We should get our pictures in the next couple weeks. We took our own pictures while waiting.

Trying to take pictures!

The other morning I tried to get a picture of the girls to send to Eric.
This is how it went...

Mae was all over the place. She did not want to stay still.

So I thought I would put her in front of Rue and she could keep her in place.

It worked for a minute. Then she was off!

Ruby tried to help me and get her back, but she's too fast!

Silly kids!

9 months!

Ruby and Mable, you are 9 months old! (almost 10!)

You both keep me on my toes! I really never sit down! You both have 2 bottom teeth and 2 top teeth coming in right now. I have been giving you slices of bananas to get you use to feeding yourself. You normally just smashed them in your hands, same thing with peas and carrots. We will keep working on this. You both love bath time. You slash and splash! You are still wearing size 3 diapers. Most of your clothes are 9 months, but you can wear 12 month clothes as well, they are just a little big on you. With it getting cold I try to keep socks on your feet, but you both just pull them off. You both have the cutest smile I've ever seen! You are very good babies. You recently started sleeping without your sleep suit. You both did great with the transition. We were very surprised. We now just put you in footed pjs. The zip up kind are Mom and Dad's favorite. So much easier to dress you, since you are always moving all over the place. I can't believe you are about to be 10 months old! Time is flying by! I started buying a couple things for your 1 year old birthday party. It will be here before we know it. You do great at restaurants. We normally just give you something to snack on and you both are happy. You still hardly have any hair. I just knew my babies would have lots of hair. I think you both had more hair when you were born than now. I cant wait until the day I can put a bow in your hair! You both know your name. If we say one of your names, then whoever we called will turn around. Babies, thank you for showing Mommy and Daddy the true meaning of being blessed! You make our life complete. We love you more than you will ever know!

Ruby, you are a ham! You love to smile and reach out to be picked up whenever we walk by. I love it! You still crawl backwards and in circles. You have not mastered going forward, but I am not concerned. You will crawl forward when you are ready. Until then I will enjoying knowing you will stay in one place. You are so funny when you eat. You make a sound like, num num when you chew your food. You are a very easy going baby. We love you, Rue Claire!

Mable, you are a girl on the go! Once you started crawling you have not stopped! At the end of the day you are exhausted from going 90 miles an hour, all day! You are very independent. You like to do everything yourself. I always say you would win a crawling competition because you are so fast! You are always smiling and laughing. Mae Rose, we love you!

Happy 9 month... almost 10! :)
