As of lately...

We have been on the move! On December 28th we close on our Shreveport house and the next day close on our home in The Woodlands. Tonight is actually our first night to stay here. We wanted to get everything done before brining the babies to the house.

We worried about the girls missing the house they had known for almost the last year. So far they are doing great! Before we left Shreveport we let them pull all their books off their shelf one last time.

We stayed at Aunt Jen and Shawn's house while working on the house. Ruby and Mable loved the big play place!

We are home!

Their room is like it was in the other house, only difference is their beds are next to each other.

We are working on getting settled in and looking forward to our new life in The Woods! That's what the locals call the area. :)

Christmas 2011

Ruby and Mable, your first Christmas was a blast! You loved opening gifts and playing with all your new toys. On Christmas eve we went to church. Ruby you sang along with all the songs. Mable you sat in daddy's lap like a little angel. Here are some pictures from Christmas.

Christmas eve opening gifts.

Christmas morning. Not sure what to think about it all.

We loved our wagan!

The girls crawled up to their chairs and sat in them forever. I think Santa did a great job!

Babies with Colds

The babies woke up with a cold a couple days ago. With the holidays coming up we decided to go ahead and take them in to the Doctor. I'm glad we did, because they both had a sore throat, and Ruby had a slight ear ache.

Ruby weighed in at 18 pounds 3 ounces and Mable 15 pounds 11 pounds.

Last Time

Yesterday evening we had to get out of the house, so our buyer could do a final walk through. We decided to eat one last time, while being Shreveport residents at Tacomaina.

This was our second time to go this week! We went on Tuesday for a Birthday Celebration.

M&R really like their rice!

I'm sure we will stop by when we are in town for some Sour Cream Sauce.

Bye Bye, Mrs. Judi

Today was our sweet Nanny, Mrs. Judi's last day with the girls. It was sad. Mrs. Judi had been with us since the girls were a month old. Another way to think of it is since Mable was 4 pounds and Ruby 5 pounds. Today Eric and I were talking, and came to realize that besides us, their parents, Mrs. Judi is the 3rd person they spent the most time with. We will miss her and I know she will miss us. I know the next baby she keeps will be in good hands!
